Refractors

The refractor is the type of telescope that most people recognize.  This type of telescope is great for deep sky astrophotography.  The refractor can have a focal length from wide view(200 mm) to medium (1100mm or more) Most refractors are medium focal ratio (f6-f8 or more.  However, they can use a reducer in order to grab those light photons faster!
