Description

The G11 RA Extension Kit makes the Losmandy G-11 Mount more versatile and much more portable. With this modification of the G11 the RA axis can track through the meridian, to allow uninterrupted tracking such as when making an astrophotograph (the so called "Meridian Flip Through"). This is done by adding an 1.5" to the RA body and also raising the Saddle Plate by 0.6".

In addition, the RA Extension Kit allows the Dec axis of the mount to be removed from the RA axis with 2 knobs. This is useful when transporting the G-11 to break down the mount into lighter, more manageable pieces.
