Introducing the newest addition to the renowned Askar FRA series, the Askar FRA600/5.6. Building upon the stellar optical performance of its predecessor, the FRA400/5.6, the FRA600/5.6 takes the series to the next level with an upgraded 108mm aperture and a 600mm focal length. The f/5.6 focal ratio remains consistent, while the image circle has expanded to an impressive 66mm, surpassing full-frame standards and offering unmatched astroimaging capabilities.

This FRA600 Quintuplet Refractor features a sophisticated Petzval design, comprising a front triplet and rear doublet lens configuration, with two elements made from ED glass. This design ensures high-level apochromatic performance, delivering stunningly sharp and clear images with minimal chromatic aberration and distortion.

The rear lens group, with an 80mm diameter, effectively maintains field illumination, providing optimal sharpness nearly to the theoretical limit. This results in beautiful, detailed images with perfectly round stars across the entire field.

Equipped with a robust 4.2" rack-and-gear-based focuser, the Askar FRA600 offers professional-level payload capacity, allowing smooth, slip-free operation even when supporting heavy imaging equipment and accessories. The focuser includes a standard 1:10 focal adjustment knob and multiple connection options. Additionally, Askar provides a standard conical extender with M54×0.75 and M48×0.85 threads for versatile astrophotographic setups.

The Askar FRA600 is designed with a 125mm tube diameter and a retractable dew shield, making it a compact and portable 4" astrograph with a retracted length of just 493mm. The multifunctional red anodized tube rings, with mounting points on three sides, facilitate the easy attachment of accessories such as guide scopes.
