Tailored for 4-Screw Models: These black plastic knobs are custom-made to fit Meade 8” f/10 SCT telescopes with four screws on the secondary housing, including models LX90, LX200, and others.
Dual Thread Lengths: Your order includes two sets of knobs, each with a different screw thread length. Use the thread length (measured below the white spacer) that matches the factory screw thread length for a precise fit.
Dependable Threads: Crafted with black anodized aluminum alloy for the outer threads and stainless steel for the inner threads, these knobs ensure durability and reliable performance.
Dust Cover Compatibility: The factory dust cover should fit normally with Bob's Knobs installed. If your dust cover contacts the knobs, we provide a set of spacers that attach to the inside of the dust cover to create slight clearance. Contact us for a free set, or you can also press the center of the cover from the inside to contour it for additional clearance.
Model Variations: Pre-2005 Meade 8” telescopes have three screws on the secondary housing and lack the fourth side screw. The 3-screw secondary has a textured surface, unlike the smooth surface of the 4-screw secondary pictured. The 3-screw secondary requires different knobs (Item A above).
Allen Wrench Included: Your order includes an Allen wrench for easy removal of the factory collimation screws during installation.
