  • Designed for 6-Screw Models: These black plastic knobs are tailored to fit Meade 8” f/10 SCT telescopes with six screws on the secondary housing, including models LX90, LX200, LX200ACF, LX200R, LS-8 SC and ACF, LT-8 SC and ACF, and others.
  • Factory Dust Cover Compatibility: On most versions, the factory dust cover fits normally with Bob's Knobs installed. If contact occurs between the dust cover and the knobs, we provide a set of spacers that attach to the inside of the dust cover to create slight clearance. Contact us for a free set, or you can also press the center of the cover from the inside to contour it for additional clearance.
  • Collimation Screws Clarified: Please note that your Meade user manual may inaccurately state that the outer secondary screws are for collimation adjustment. This information is incorrect. In our photo, the knobs are attached to the inner screws, which are the true collimation screws. The outer screws are intended for disassembling the secondary.

• Model Variations: Meade 8” telescopes manufactured before 2005 typically have three screws on the secondary housing. The 3-screw secondary requires different knobs (Item A above). Do not attempt to use knobs designed for the 6-screw secondary on the 3-screw secondary, as the screws on the 6-screw knobs are too long.
