Designed to complement the Celestron Luminos eyepiece range, the Barlow lens comes encased in a durable hard-anodized aluminum housing. For a secure grip, even in chilly weather or while wearing gloves, a strategically placed rubber grip is situated on the barrel. The interior features a brass compression ring that securely grabs onto your 2" eyepieces when you tighten the oversized thumbscrew. This design offers better security than typical thumbscrew-only systems and also prevents the eyepiece barrel from getting scratched. For added versatility, a matching 2" to 1.25" adapter is included, allowing you to amplify the magnification of all your eyepieces, regardless of their size.

An added perk is that the Barlow lens' insert barrel is threaded to fit 2” filters. This thoughtful feature allows you to switch out eyepieces without having to detach and reattach the filter every single time.
