Deep Sky Dad Celestron Aluminum DewShield Locking compression ring

Tired of your Celestron aluminium dew shield slipping or shifting during a session?  You’re not alone. With only two plastic latches holding it in place, unwanted movement is a common frustration—especially when you’re trying to stay perfectly aligned for imaging or observation.

That’s where the DeepSkyDad locking compression ring comes in.

This simple but effective upgrade securely locks your dew shield in place, eliminating wobble and preventing unexpected shifts. It’s designed specifically for Celestron aluminium dew shields, adding stability and peace of mind so you can focus on the sky—not your gear.

And if you’re using a flat panel for calibration frames, stability becomes even more critical.  The flat panel attaches directly to the front edge of the compression ring, which means the dew shield must stay perfectly steady. The added weight of the panel can easily cause a loose dew shield to shift—but not with this upgrade.

 Key benefits:
• Prevents dew shield movement
• Handles extra weight from attached flat panels
• Provides a stable mounting edge for flat panels
• Easy to install
• Precision fit for Celestron aluminium dew shields

Upgrade your setup and say goodbye to slipping dew shields.
