This is an aluminum pier extension designed to fit the SkyHunter mount. Both the top and bottom have 3/8-16 threaded holes for easy mounting. You can use it with the iOptron #3221 tripod or pretty much any tripod that uses 3/8-inch mounting screws. And if you've got a 1/4-inch setup, no worries—you can still use it with a thread converter.
