This means the mount, weighing in at just 17.5 pounds, can handle up to 45 pounds of gear while executing precise GOTO and tracking functions. Polar alignment is hassle-free with the built-in iPolar electronic polar scope, even if the North Star is hidden from view. And you won't have to worry about fumbling with gear clutches; the GEM45 comes with large quick-lock levers that are a breeze to use, even when you're wearing gloves.

Cable entanglement? Not a problem. The GEM45 has an internal cable management system that keeps things tidy. It also features a 6-inch dual dovetail saddle compatible with both Losmandy and Vixen plates. The mount employs dependable stepper motors that are energy-efficient. And it stands on our newly designed LiteRoc 1.75" tripod, offering enhanced stability without the extra weight.
