Understanding the ever-increasing need for a sturdy and precise equatorial mount that can handle larger scopes and sophisticated imaging setups, we bring you the iOptron CEM120. This mount takes advantage of our game-changing "center balance" design, which concentrates the mount and the payload weight directly over the pier or tripod for superior stability. This design innovation allows the CEM120 to support an impressive payload of up to 115 lbs (52 kg).
When it comes to performance, the CEM120 shines with a low periodic tracking error of just ±3.5 arc seconds. But that's not all. This mount also features a state-of-the-art cable management system with a multitude of ports placed strategically to avoid cable mess and reduce the risk of cable damage. Plus, it brings new tech to the CEM lineup, including Wi-Fi and LAN capabilities for remote operation, and user-friendly, dependable clutches on both axes.
Want to go heavier on equipment? Optional heavy-duty Tri-Pier 360 and Permanent Pier are up for grabs.
Looking for a lighter setup? We've got an optional Tri-Pier adapter (8036-120) that can also be adapted for permanent pier installations.
