The iPANOTM AllView Pro is your go-to rig for shooting gigapixel panoramas, thanks to its robust build and high-precision pan and tilt capabilities. Borrowing from iOptron's expertise in both astronomy tech and electronics, this mount is not just reliable but also super easy to use. Oh, and did I mention it's pretty quiet?
In terms of its features, this bad boy is compatible with most DSLR cameras and lenses out there. You get the flexibility to use it either as an AllView mount or a rotating mount, depending on your needs. When we're talking weight capacity, it can handle up to 11 lbs in AllView mode and 22 lbs as a rotating mount. And the mount itself weighs just 7.3 lbs.
When it comes to precision, this thing is no joke—high-resolution and high-precision captures are its bread and butter. Plus, the zero-backlash design ensures that your gear remains rock steady. Feel like switching up the camera position? No problem, you can mount your camera either horizontally or vertically.
Running low on power is a non-issue with its low power draw, and it even comes with lithium rechargeable batteries. For those who can't be bothered with cables, it's got built-in WiFi, so you can control it wirelessly via your computer, tablet, or smartphone. The package includes iPano Commander software for PC-based control, and if you prefer hardwiring, there are also RS232 and RS485 ports.
What's in the box, you ask? Alongside the iPANO AllView Pro mount, you'll find an 8.4V 2A battery charger, an RS232-RJ9 serial cable, and seven electronic trigger cables compatible with various Canon, Nikon, Olympus, and Sony models. Also included are a vertical mounting dovetail plate, a pair of screws for that plate, a 1/4" to 3/8" camera convert screw adapter, and a hex key wrench. Toss all that into the included padded carrying bag, and you're good to go. And don't forget about the Panoweaver 9.1 Standard Edition software that you can download from Easypano's site. Lastly, the kit comes with a one-year limited warranty, though the battery's warranty runs for 90 days.
