Building on a nearly four-year reign at the top of the camera tracker market, iOptron's revamped SkyGuiderTM Pro brings you closer than ever to perfect tracking. This newly designed mount head is not only more compact—easily fitting in the palm of your hand—but also offers enhanced precision, silent tracking, an integrated rechargeable battery, ST-4 guiding port, and a camera trigger port.

Paired with our iOS app, this device makes polar alignment a breeze. The adjustable illumination on the precision polar scope allows for versatile viewing conditions. The DEC mounting bracket supports better balancing for heavier camera and lens setups, or even lightweight telescopes. If you opt for the 8408 hand controller, you can further fine-tune your setup with features like Pole Star position checking and camera trigger control.

The SkyGuiderTM Pro offers four tracking rates: sidereal or 1X, half-speed or 1/2X for capturing both sky and landscape, as well as solar and lunar speeds. All four tracking modes operate seamlessly in both the northern and southern hemispheres. Plus, a quick slew mode in both forward and reverse helps you adjust your framing without upsetting the camera's positioning.

We've upgraded the removable alt-azimuth base for better usability, featuring a precision bubble level, degree markers for altitude, and a dedicated azimuth control post. You can also attach the SkyGuiderTM Pro head directly to any standard photography tripod with 1/4" or 3/8" threading.
