Lunt 60mm H-Alpha Etalon Filters

with Blocking Filters

• Turn your favorite refractor into a high-contrast solar telescope—then remove the filter and head back to night observing in minutes

• Front-mounted 60 mm etalon (no central obstruction) for crisp, even illumination across the full solar disk

• Integrally tuned, tilt-tuned design delivers an estimated <0.70 Å bandpass for rich surface detail and dramatic limb prominences

• Double-stack ready: add a second etalon to tighten the bandpass to ~<0.50 Å (scope-dependent) for ultra-fine structure and higher contrast

• Pick the blocking filter package that fits your scope and focuser size: from B600 for short focal lengths to B3400 for longer instruments

• Retrofit-friendly (adapters required): designed for daytime use on customer-supplied refractors and easily removable for nighttime viewing

• Built for visual and imaging—choose a larger blocking filter for longer focal lengths to keep the full disk in-band

• Ships in a rugged aluminum hard case with fitted foam—protects your investment at home and in the field

• Important: A Lunt blocking filter must be used with all Lunt H-alpha filters at all times
