The #19836 adapter converts the larger 3.29-inch rear cell thread on the back of Meade's 10", 12", and 14" class OTA's to a male OPTEC-4300 dovetail standard. This allows attachment of Optec's Gemini Focusing Rotator or TCF-Lynx3 Gen2 3-inch focuser.
