Robotic Focusing Motor for SC-Type Telescopes

SESTO SENSO 3 SC is PrimaLuceLab’s purpose-built answer for Schmidt-Cassegrain, EdgeHD, RASA, and other internal mirror focuser scopes. Instead of fighting backlash and sloppy couplers, it uses the Direct Pulley Clamp (DPC): a backlash-free pulley-driven system that gives you smooth motorized focusing and still lets you grab the knob for manual tweaks anytime you want. And because it has an integrated position encoder, it keeps track of focus position even after manual adjustments (with optional Automatic Position Recovery to “return to home” if someone bumps focus).

It’s an all-in-one, compact unit with USB-C + built-in WiFi, works with PLAY (including autofocus), supports ASCOM for third-party apps, includes an ARCO port for direct rotator connection, and plays nicely with EAGLE features like GHOST mode and DARK mode (dimmable LEDs you can fully shut off). If you run an SCT/EdgeHD/RASA rig and want repeatable, remote-friendly focusing without drama, this is the one.
