QHYCCD Filter masks (10pcs)

Starting September 1, 2023, QHY will include Filter Masks at no extra charge as standard add-ons for the QHYCFW3-M, QHYCFW3-L, and QHYCFW3-XL filter wheels. These masks will supersede the small round fixers that were initially used for securing unmounted filters in the wheel's carousel. The Filter Masks offer a more user-friendly installation experience and are designed to minimize stray light leakage around unmounted 50mm filters in the carousel.

For customers who acquired QHY filter wheels prior to September 1, these Filter Masks can be purchased separately.

Price and Availability:

• A set of 10 36mm round unmounted filter masks is priced at $10, designed for QHYCFW3M with a 7*36mm filter carousel.

• A set of 10 50mm round unmounted filter masks also costs $10, and they are compatible with QHYCFW3M equipped with a 5*50mm round filter carousel, as well as with QHYCFW3L and QHYCFW3XL.

• Additionally, a 50mm square 3D-printed filter mask plate is available for QHYCFW3XL units that have a 7 x 50mm square filter carousel.

Both the 36mm and 50mm Filter Masks can be bought for a modest $10 for a pack of 8-10 pieces. For those who own an XL filter wheel that utilizes 50mm square filters, a complimentary mask can be requested by contacting the QHY Help Center and opening a support ticket.
