Building on a 15-year legacy since the debut of the groundbreaking CubeTM AZ/EQ GoTo mount, the SkyHunterTM sets new benchmarks in iOptron's line of cutting-edge mounts. This incredibly lightweight and ultra-compact mount tips the scales at just 2.9 lbs, battery included, yet can handle a payload of up to 11 lbs in both equatorial and alt-azimuth configurations.
When it comes to tracking, the SkyHunterTM is as versatile as it gets. You get four distinct tracking speeds: sidereal or 1X, half-speed or 1/2X for mixed sky and landscape tracking, as well as solar and lunar rates. Plus, these tracking modes are functional in both the northern and southern hemispheres.
Control-wise, you've got options. The SkyHunterTM is compatible with SkySafari 6 Plus or newer versions on iOS and Android devices, and you can also opt for an 8410 hand controller. If you prefer using a computer, ASCOM, INDI, or the mount's own embedded drive can be used for control.
