Color correction that beats the old legends. Chromatic aberration in the blue and violet wavelengths is cut by a third compared to the classic Fluorite-based FS-102 and FS-128, so stars stay tight and colors stay true.
A triplet built to travel. Three lenses in three groups, with an S-FPL53 ED element at the center and hard multicoatings throughout, are mounted in a 3-element barrel engineered to hold optomechanical alignment through transport bumps and swinging temperatures.
Lightweight and compact for a 120 mm apo. A retractable dew shield keeps the tube at just 870 mm collapsed (990 mm extended), all at a manageable 6.7 kg, so a serious aperture doesn't mean a serious hassle to haul around.
