Takahashi TSA-120 Refractor OTA

• TOA-level performance, without the TOA price tag. The TSA-120's air-spaced ED triplet apochromat delivers a Strehl ratio of 99.2% at the wavelengths human vision cares about most, putting it right alongside Takahashi's flagship TOA series in optical performance.
• Color correction that beats the old legends. Chromatic aberration in the blue and violet wavelengths is cut by a third compared to the classic Fluorite-based FS-102 and FS-128, so stars stay tight and colors stay true.
• A triplet built to travel. Three lenses in three groups, with an S-FPL53 ED element at the center and hard multicoatings throughout, are mounted in a 3-element barrel engineered to hold optomechanical alignment through transport bumps and swinging temperatures.
• Lightweight and compact for a 120 mm apo. A retractable dew shield keeps the tube at just 870 mm collapsed (990 mm extended), all at a manageable 6.7 kg, so a serious aperture doesn't mean a serious hassle to haul around.
• One tube, four focal setups. Shoot native at 900 mm (F/7.5), add the TOA-35FL field corrector for 882 mm (F/7.3) native-focus imaging, drop in the TOA-35RD reducer for a faster 672 mm (F/5.6) deep sky setup, or reach for the EXT-ED1.5X extender to hit 1350 mm (F/11.3) for high-resolution planetary and lunar work.
• Built for modern imaging trains. The assembly meets the rigidity and flexibility demands of today's digital cameras and the latest generation of CCD cameras, so your imaging chain stays solid all night.
• Precision hardware from a name astrophotographers trust. Like everything else Takahashi builds, the TSA-120 is engineered to deliver night after night, whether you're at the eyepiece or behind the camera.
